You always get your car or motorbike MoT tested; similarly, it makes sense to have your boiler serviced annually, as any problems can be picked up before they escalate into costly repairs.
This helps to ensure your boiler is operating safely and efficiently, which will keep the bills down.
Lapsed boiler guarantee = no longer valid
If your boiler is still within its guarantee period, you must have an annual service by a gas safe engineer for the guarantee to remain valid. We’ll do a full service and provide you with the paperwork to ensure your guarantee is good for another 12 months.
What’s included:
- Check all seals and joints
- Clean up, adjust and lubricate all boiler controls
- Check for any boiler connections which have been disturbed
- Clean and check the flame supervision components for correct operation
- On open flue boilers – check for any spillage
- Check and reset where necessary the burner operating pressure according to the data label
